MONTREAL – Police arrested at least 20 people in and around Montreal early Wednesday in a drug bust targeting members of the city’s Mafia.

As early as 4:30 a.m., dozens of officers from the Montreal police force, the Sûreté du Québec and the RCMP descended on homes in east-end Montreal, Laval and Terrebonne. As of 7:30 a.m., they had rounded up over 20 people, served 30 search warrants and warned that more arrests will come.
