Hell no. Your life is no longer yours. I had an acquaintance who declined to enter the mob back in NY state. He was a particularly good burglar and was often described by police as the master burglar of NY. He held up a jewlry store (A second skill set)of $350,000 and the mob learned who had done it and demanded "Their" share of it. He figured that he took all the risk Etc. and refused to give them anything so was ambushed and murdered.
