How do you guys see Magaddino's legacy amongst the bosses? Like Profaci, he isn't discussed as much as the other heavyweights. Buffalo is one of the families I don't hear much about either. Magaddino did have a seat on the commission so he must've been pretty respected. I seem to recall he was close with Joe Bonanno. Was Buffalo at its peak comparable to one of the smaller midwest families like Cleveland/Kansas City or was it bigger than that?

i'm no expert on them, but for a long while they seemed to be on par with all of the major families outside of NY and chicago, like philly, NE, NJ, and detroit.

In the 1950's the Buffalo fam was bigger than Cleveland or the rest of the small families,some say that Magaddino was close connected to Vito Genovese in thouse times and Stefano never spent a night in jail till 1968 i think he got pinched together with his son.
