I hope you like it, Patches. Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper) is, IMO, the greatest villian of all time. Lynch's direction, too, is flawless. Over at the Movie Board, I brought up a theory that Blue Velvet is really a love story. Does anybody else agree?

Capo, you should really see Mulholland Dr. It is even more complex than Blue Velvet and has much more rewatchability factor. The film is among the most fascinating ever made. And I can't wait to see The Elephant Man and Eraserhead (I'm having a hell of a time finding the latter).
