I'm sorry to hear this. I saw him play once in an Ann Arbor club. He was kind enough to answer a few questions after the show. He had hands like catcher's mitts. His little finger was longer than my middle finger. Really a great guitarist and interpreter.

This one slipped by me. I was a Richie Havens fan from his first album "Mixed Bag". If anyone wants a classic retro folk/blues album, this has to be in your collection. I saw Richie in concert probably in 1970/71 at Univ. of Scranton. Fantastic. A troubadour.
