She was only 87 from recent pictures and how long ago she was pm i honestly thought she was nearing 100. Actually so did I. Thought she'd be high 90s.  TIS

Meryl Streep made a flick with Roseanne Barr? I have no memory of it, thank God. Maybe it is a form of PTSD. And while we're at it that abomination she made with Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin was nothing more than her collecting a paycheck.
But back to the topic, I remember being in the UK a couple of times during the Thatcher years, and while she was controversial, it is also fair to say when she took over the country was paralyzed by strikes, and overall "malaise" to use a term associated with a far weaker Western leader of the era. For all her harshness, she probably saved the UK from becoming a third world country.
The satire magazine "Private Eye" ran a brilliant satire every week which was a fictional diary of Denis Thatcher, her husband.

I was about 7/8 during Mickey Mouse Club and she was obviously the most famous Musketeer. As a matter of fact, her first name was very popular. One of my 2nd cousins had her named legally changed to Annette. Well, her actual birth name was "Illuminata" and she just didn't like it. Annette was so popular during that time, it inspired her new first name. I use to go see all those lame Beach Party movies too, back in the day. Was fun then tho. TIS

I know she had MS for years, but hear no reports about her being in coma. I think her husband let cameras in there home two years ago, but not positive on the date. She might have been in a coma for a month or less, but highly doubt years.

I agree with BAM -- according to Extra, "she lost the ability to walk in 2004 and to speak in 2009." I guess that's an "MS Coma" but for our purposes, I won't count it as a coma unless I hear something definitive.
