I'm not to familiar with particular Mafia hits in the states or in Italy. All that I know is that this scene here from Il Capo Dei Capi, whether this actually happened to the guy or not, is pretty brutal. I know for a fact though that this bunch used to strangle others like that however, the groans and screams. Watch this scene and you'll see what I mean.
