just age. remember made guys dont retire they just keep going n going. i remember reading about this genovese guy who operated out of florida (i think). he was getting done at 96 and talking about wanting to hit ppl stil. he resented the upper echelon of benny eggs and that as he never even reached capo in his near-century on earth. aparently they all though he was a thick jealous idiot who didnt have what it takes. but anyway 96 and wanting to hit ppl-amazing
Is that Joe Stassi you're talking about? Read about him in Havana Nocturne, he was a powerhouse in Havana back in the day. Don't know much else about him.
