speaking of East Harlem and overlooked guys how about Farby?
Good guy, he was loved by the ILA guys. He didn't becomes a big player till later in life. Had a good short run.
Frankie died very young and would have made a great boss except for the snap decision he made about Ralphie. That was a shame. He got talked into it but that was no excuse. A real shame.
It's funny, reading Farby's name just brought something to mind. All you ever hear about is how the higher up Westside guys all live to be a hundred. Well, there's some truth to that, but it ain't set in stone. Farby, Joe Dente and Sammy Black all died very young, in their fifties. And all three of those guys were heavyweights, skipper or higher.
