Yes, according to Ralph Natale the shooter on the Turra hit was Michael Virgilio. Natale said Merlino, Borgese and Mazzone were also involved but i don't recall the details on what he said their roles on the hit were.

Well I guess like father like son with the Virgilio family...Nick The Blade was no joke...never remember hearing about his son really involved in much racket-wise and only as a Merlino hitter, but I don't think he was ever made...Veasey a made guy though? What a joke and a sign of the Stanfa times. Sure, John-John was tough as nails and got it done on Mikey Chang and Frank Baldino but a psychopathic street punk doesn't necessarily mean LCN material.

There's a pretty decent photo of Nick the Blade in Leonetti's book. It's from the early 1970's and Leonetti was visiting him at Leesburg State Prison in NJ. The Blade has long hair in it and i didn't even know it was him until i read the caption. Leonetti's in the picture too.

Martines i believe is doing a life sentence and Pagano got something like 70 or 80 years.

Martines was either the underboss under Stanfa or acting underboss. I think Pagano might of been a capo.
