Remember the ritual that Norton went through when he was about to sign something. I imagine him doing so had he been about to sign the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.
A few licks of the pencil and some brushing and waving of the air around the paper before Ralph gives him a whack. I mimic this once in a while when I'm signing papers.
I also always loved to do Norton's dance from the Hucklebuck episode.
