I am in the process of writing my own story involving the Mafia. I'd like some guidance on how to create a daily schedule for the different ranks of the Mafia, how many hours they work, what days of the week, to begin with.

Let's start with the associate. How many hours and days would members of this part of the crew work?

I guess I would consider myself an associate now a retired associate. My main thing was stealing. Then later on got involved in other things more serious which meant more risk and more money. But stealing was always the best.

I would go to a doo wop shop in NYC before tge show we go out to eat in a restraunt. There was a big park bench in front of the place. I liked it so my friends and I told the people sitting on it to get up. We load it into my van and it is in my back yard today. The key is make people believe you belong there.

At night you either steal or play cards. Get up at noon if nothing is going on. Then go to the club and play cards until their is something going on

Organized crime is very different now a days, well atleast in Canada. They do punch in and out every day, at legitimate businesses. I remember one of the biggest surprises to me was the surprising amount of skilled tradesmen that make up organized crime groups. Carpenters, roofers (Hells Angels make excellent roofers. I kid you not). They run businesses and they run them well, they are involved in flooring, renovation and so forth. Ofcourse you can mix in some real estate, cafes and restaurant ownership.

Don't always look to the old image of no show jobs, limited work ethic and the endless card games. The reality is much different.

Southern Ontario locals may recall a certain flooring company (who was well regarded in the business and the community for some excellent and professional work) that hit the news a few years ago when its owner was charged from a drug bust that had product worth over a million dollars.
More recently, another employee was also arrested, Nicola Nero.

I used to work in a brokerage house. It was run by Italians a lot of scam stocks were sold their.

Lew alcinder right out of college UCLA invested his signing money from the Milwaukee bucks in this place. He lost everything. I lost money on their so called tip stocks.

There also were in the 5 cents a minute long distance business.

Why so I can have my picture on some FBI wall. I had some guys that did what I did but wanted to get in the so called mafia. They hardly ever get arrested as kids now in their 60s they are doing time.

Their is nothing like stealing man and getting away with it. But I also did plenty of the real bad stuff. I rather had just stole for a living. Most of my real good friends are death. I think I am destined to live forever.

I just got out of tge hospital a few days ago leg infection. 4th time in 6 years.

At least I had 2 good hospital room mates this time.

According to Joe Pistone (Donnie Brasco) that life can be rather boring. Much of their time is spent just hanging around trying to dream up a new scheme or talking about their new Gucci shoes. I suspect that most excitement takes place after dark
