I'm still relatively new to popular music, but mind if I post my top 5 Rock songs of all time?

1. Stairway to Heaven
2. Angie
3. Gimme Shelter
4. Sympathy for the Devil
5. I am the Walrus

As you can tell, I like the Rolling Stones quite a bit.

Also among my favorite Stones songs, Beast of Burden, Tumbling Dice & Miss You. I forgot about "Angie". Loved that song when it came out and wanted to use that name if I had a daughter. So I did!!! :p

The Beatles, Day In The Life, Hey Jude, Yesterday along with John Lennon's Woman and Imagine are on the top of my list as well.

There really are many other artists/songs, but can't think of them right now. I seem to be on a "Stones" kick.

Come on nobody listens to the Talking Heads! Most original lyrics and music in the last twenty five years. Nobody has made music that sounds like them. Check them out folks.

It looks like that i'm not the only "Kiss Fan" over here.

Personaly i think that the Love Gun album is the best they've made, but i also like Rock and Roll over, especially the track called Making Love. Man , that song rocks ........

I must admit that i,m an Ace Frehley addict so i like his solo album best.

I GUESS WE KNOW WHERE THE ROCKIN' SOUND OF KISS COMES FROM!

I won't argue with you on that. They are on top of my list regarding bands that I would like to see reunite. I still kick myself that I never went to see them live. A couple a times a year I will go on a Talking Heads binge that usually last a few days. Talking Heads 77 is an outstanding first record. It offered so much promise and they lived up to that promise and then some. To quote Mr. Baggins

I don't know enough of the Talking Heads to talk something worth about them, but I do think "Burning Down The House" is an amazing song

For example, i like the old Rockers like Ten Years After, Led Zeppelin and The Who but also the new Rockers like The Deftones, System of a Down and Linking Park ...... and all kinds of rock what lies in between the early 70'ties and now ..

Burning Down the House is a great song, but definitely, definitely not their best. Go and get their Remain in Light album. It is unbelievable, and it's often considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time. There is nothing else like it.

And Daigo Mick Friend, I'm glad I found another Talking Heads fan. 77 is a great album, I especially like Tentative Decisions and Don't Worry About the Government.

Gosh ..... i'm kind of jalous.

But ... i've seen Kiss twice. First time i saw them was 1978 and the last time i saw them was 2003.

The 1978 gig was one of the best Rock and Roll shows that i've seen. I think that the Iron Maiden Powerslave tour is the second best.

I think that Red House, Little Wing and Manic Depression (i love the insane riff of the song) are his best.

Further i like the way Hendrix uses the #9 chords
