I am not against cursing in movies. It all depends on the movie/show. Can it be overdone? I think so. Off the top of my head, Scarface comes to mind. I was so surprised when I saw it (years ago). Every other word in the dialogue was "F**K." rolleyes

Or, take The Sopranos. They kind of overdid the bad language too IMHO. Then again, on the other hand, for a while they were showing episodes of The Sopranos on regular broadcast channels and of course they had to clean-up the language.

I had to laugh at Tony Soprano saying something like oh "gosh darn" lol (don't remember exactly, but you get my drift.) Not to say I was disappointed that there was no swearing but it wasn't realistic to the character.

I guess, bottom line, it all depends.
