I expect that Chris Kyle was probably politically to the right of where I am. rolleyes
But that is no reason for political opponents to use the occasion of his murder to make snarky comments about "no tears for a mass murderer" or "live by the sword, die by the sword" or calling him "scum". There are American soldiers who are alive today because of actions he took. And he died trying to help another veteran.

Something is really wrong in the American politic when someone's death is occasion for political gotcha or insults. Right or left, it's not the thing to do.

"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
Winter is Coming

Now this is the Law of the Jungleā€”as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.
