After a long cold snap, it warmed up to 60 yesterday here in the High Desert. Tomorrow: snow showers, high 33, low 10.

It's been really cold here (for CA). Next couple days the highs will only be in the high 40's (48ish). That's really cold. Lows will be down into low/mid 30s.

LOL I know. When I talk to my family in MI and tell them the temp, they'd say the same thing. I don't expect sympathy from them or anyone back east.

When we first moved to CA, I literally threw out all my winter coats, bringing with me light jackets. We moved in late Sept. When I walked my kids to the corner for the school bus, I'd see kids in winter coats, scarves, hats, etc. I'd laugh at them thinking, it's not cold at all. Well, fast forward a couple years and I am one of those people I laughed at. I guess it's true and your blood thins or something.

Anyway, it IS colder than normal here.

Husband's job transfer. No longer have the husband but still in CA. I always say can't beat CA weather/scenery. It's beautiful. Been here 32 years but still miss my home state, MI at times.

Well, a little snow this morning.

Raining for 2 days now

It was -7 degrees this morning when i took the little fella to school. Brrrrrrrrr

Absolutely swamped with snow, which is now starting to freeze. It's like f*****g Siberia round here the last week

And still the snow bleaches down. A woman weather forecaster has just been telling me that south west England and Wales are facing a lot of snow today but it is easing eveywhere else???? In the frozen North where i come from it has been snowing heavily for days but never a mention of us!!! We even got the cold weather 4 days before the south, but the moment a snowflake lands on Heathrow runway and the Queen fells a chill up her bloomers the BBC go into "weather hell" meltdown. They have no clue at all...and yes it pisses me off royally

And no i would not live down there for all the tea in China

They cancelled school today due to the single digits temps. The high today is suppose to be '9 today in Salem, Ohio.

I talked to my brother yesterday (in MI) and he said it was 9 degrees. Holy crap!! That was mid-day too.

It has been gorgeous and unseasonably warm, getting to 80 and will be the next couple days before it cools down and we get more rain. This kind of day reminds me of WHY I moved to CA. You just can't beat the weather.

Mid-70s here in Florida. Good time to be out of Jersey (mid-20s), but don't like what I'm hearing about snow on Friday, since I'm supposed to fly back Saturday.

I remember LOVING those snow days. I have memories of my brothers/sister sitting by the radio or tv as they list all the schools closed. We'd jump for joy when they mentioned our school. I'm sure my mom wasn't cheering though. LOL

The first cold day of the season - 18 degrees this morning. The cold weather came in last night that triggered a snow squall and one clap of thunder.. I hate winter.
