Being from the South and spending many summer months in New Orleans with my dad I had the honor,and I mean honor of meeting Carlos Marcello.I met him at the Keyhole Bar and Grille.He spoke in a verystrong cajun accent.He owned a home in Grand Isle that you may be able to see.Although I lost all contact with the city after Katrina.I believe this home that Marcello owned may have been destroyed as well.Just a very powerful man and he owned quite a few places throughout the city and some remain.Just ask around.It is indeed an interesting part of the citys history.He was laidback as they come but I am sure he fed many a gator

Those two were pretty powerful in their own right. The feds new about em though, and went as far as dumping Marcello off in Guatemala to try and get rid of him!
