I found out from http://stiffs.com/ (or http://stiffs.com/stiffs/ for the year) -- they seem to be on top of things, tho I haven't been there much: but, their definition of "famous" is pretty strict...
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol
