I think that you're right to some extent. I've just always liked how truly exellent films are able to provide audio, visual, and mental stimulation, which each seem to me to be seperate elements that can be individually provided by music, paintings, and books. Films are also relatively the youngest art form among the major groups. It represents the modern medium of artistic expression. I can see why you feel it's unique rather than a combination, to some extent.
