Ah, yes. It is a good album. My favorite Radiohead album usually depends on my mood, I think. It usually bounces around from OK Computer, to Kid A, to Amnesiac... the new album sounds like it is going to be very promising though, judging by what I've heard played live.

This is Mojive's house, indeed.

I held off listening to Kid A for a while because I wanted to make sure I had fully grasped OK Computer first, just so I could feel as though I had some sort of idea of their progression. I'm gonna wait a week or so before I attempt to hear Amnesiac.

Their progression will make you say "what the fuck...?". They're known for drastic style changes. Such a versitle band. OK Computer just speaks to me for some reason though... Pay attention to the lyrics, Thom says he was playing a different character in each song, the way he wrote and sang the lyrics.

Even the stuff prior to OK Computer is completely different. I would hold off Pablo Honey until you've listened to their other stuff, but The Bends is a cool album if you want to explore their rock material a bit further.

Hah, so 62 years ago today, my Grandpa was shot down over Nazi Germany.. He was a navigator on a Band was taken to Stalag Luft III.. where the story The Great Escape was based on. He was there at the same time that the aforementioned 'Great Escape' happened. I dunno, I think its a neat story anyway.

We are all voyeurs to our own inertia. Wretched repetition, meet me at the Station of Boredom, and await for the Taxi of Life to arrive. Capitalized nonsense to lend weight and authority to otherwise nothingness. You have no fucking idea, my facade of a friend, how much you disappoint me. Not that you fail to meet expectations, but you are my mirror, cracked and truthful, weakness and shame. Facing me in the dust of twilight and dusk of noon.

Like a rose wilting and dying, so feels my heart. You trampled the most fragile thing in my body, and didn't even know it. I thought you felt the same as me; you smiled, touched my arm, stood up for me. My spirits were lifted. This was the first time anyone did this, and for a time I felt beautiful because you made me. I never wanted to leave your side; I was afraid to lose you, but then reality hit me - you never felt the same, I had been floating on a fake cloud. You trampled my heart and didn't even know it.

I urge everyone to buy Seu Jorge's The Life Aquatic - Studio Sessions. Once you're over the hilarity of David Bowie songs sung acoustically and in Portuguese you realise it's actually very very good music.

That's life, that's what all the people say.
You're riding high in April,
Shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune,
When I'm back on top, back on top in June.

I said that's life, and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks,
Stompin' on a dream
But I don't let it, let it get me down,
'Cause this fine ol' world it keeps spinning around

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I've been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself, flat on my face,
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

That's life
I tell ya, I can't deny it,
I thought of quitting baby,
But my heart just ain't gonna buy it.
And if I didn't think it was worth one single try,
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I've been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself laying flat on my face,
I just pick myself up and get back in the race

That's life
That's life and I can't deny it
Many times I thought of cutting out
But my heart won't buy it
But if there's nothing shakin' come this here july
I'm gonna roll myself up in a big ball and die
My, My

Hey, how's it going?

Hello, my name is Morgan Freeman. People like the sound of my voice. I've narrated 4,362 films. 879 of them were, in fact, about narration.

The Shawshank Redemption, overrated as far as one of the best of all time goes, but still a great movie that I always enjoy watching. I love Freeman's narration, although he's to be typecast as a narrator with other films.

I'll be honest though, I'll take Jeremy Irons voice over Freeman's anyday as far as narration goes. grin

Generally I hate movies that hand out a "message" for the audience. But Shawshank is an exception. I like its obvious message of hope and in recent times I have taken a lot of inspiration from the movie in my real life.

I really like Shinky-shoonky... Or whatever the Hell it's called. But I had to take a stab at Freeman.

Bogey, I know you're a Depp fan, so I wanted to show you, but this can go for anyone...

I found this guy on YouTube that dresses up like Johnny Depp characters and does impersonations of them.

Close up, I wouldn't say he actually looks like Johnny, but he does a good job of imitating him...quite entertaining! grin

Willy Wonka - Best part is the end...

Jack Sparrow - I've only watched part of this, but it looks good.

Edward Scissorhands

If anything, it'll tide us over until Pirates 2 comes out. wink

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
