I always enjoyed spelling bees when I was in school. Don't know why exactly. Maybe the challenge. I used to get so mad because many times, I would be second or third to the last standing. I wanted to win!
However, I wouldn't last one round in this kind of tournament. I not only couldn't spell these words, but never heard of most of them!! Do these people memorize the dictionary or what??? Wow!! I guess if you're gonna possess a special talent, being an excellent speller is a big plus.
