John should of waited his turn. John easily could of when to Carmine Persico as they were involved in drugs. Johnny G had other options and had alot of people. He could of even asked a drug dealer to kill Big Paul but he didn't. I doubt he would of created a big history assassination over a bunch of drug tapes and if it was about drug tapes then I don't know why he instantly bragged about that he was boss, and waited outside the club to be congratulated.

It would have been interesting if Gambino was clipped too, but he was in jail for about 21 or 22 months in all, as I have read (it was an article from the New York Times archive I think).
