What's so respectable about that? Not flipping means staying true to the ideology based on murder, extortion, betrayal etc.
I am not saying that gangsters who flipped are more respectable, I mean from a moral point of view it doesn't matter if they talk or not. If somebody is a criminal who commits crimes without being forced by other people or circumstances, he can't be respectable.
