Benny Eggs is in his 90s, but I have it on very good authority that he's most certainly retired. As was Matty when he passed away a few months ago.
The common myth is that these guys never get tired of the life, but that's bullshit. A lot of them get put out to pasture by the younger guys, and a lot of them pack it in on their own.
What about Larry Dentico do you know if he's retired yet? He must be close to 90 now.
