It's Boris Karloff - Giancarlo nailed it.
BTW, the Grammy that Karloff received was for the album "An Evening With Boris Karloff and His Friends" which came out (I believe) in 1966.

...someone can take my turn until i get back later tonight or tomorrow. Well then, I'm gonna invoke the "Twelve Hour Rule" (which I just invented) and post another pic. (But, Giancarlo, we eagerly await your next puzzler!) Gonna give you all an easier one this time. Take a look at this famous person: He is still alive, and is known internationally. That's all I'm going to say for now - except to say that it is definitely not Boris Karloff! Signor V.

You are just way to good SV. Yep, that's Rod. Gotta say tho, you can totally tell when you look at the picture no? I didn't even have to give any hints. You're turn. TIS

Actually, I'm not really all that good. I mean, think of all the photos I haven't guessed! Others here are far better than me. With Serling, I copied the picture, then enlarged the face so I could study it without the other visual elements. That helped. What also helped was that close to twenty years ago I had to make someone up as Rod Serling and it didn't turn out as well as we would have liked, partly owing to the fact that the actor bore absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to Serling (and there was virtually no advance time to prepare the job). So somewhere, deep in the Twilight Zone of my brain, I have Rod Serling's face burned into my memory cells... Anyway, submitted for your approval, here is out next exhibit in the Night Gallery: This one may be a bit tough. Some clues to start things off: The person in the photograph was six years old when the picture was taken, but gained fame years later. Lots of women wanted to look like her. In her day, she was very, very big. (And I'm not talking "plus-sized", so it's not Kate Smith or Mama Cass!) She is not among the living. And no, it is not Boris Karloff. Signor V.

For no particular reason, AND off the top of my head: Mae West? TIS

A good guess, but it's not Mae West. Right time period, though: Hollywood's Golden Age.
Edit: I have to be away from the computer for a few hours, so I thought I'd throw in a few more hints:
Her screen name was not the name she was born with.
She was married three times, but at the time of her death she was single. She had no children.
She acted opposite some of Hollywood's biggest leading men, playing comedy or drama.
She, herself, has been depicted in several movies.

Hmmm Another guess. Jean Harlow? I know she died young & don't think she had kids. I think she was married to Clark Gable but not sure about how many marriages she had. Anyway, I'll guess Harlow. TIS, you're right, it is Jean Harlow, but it was Carole Lombard who was married to Gable.

Oh yea. I guess I get the two mixed up. Thanks Here's a very easy one that I think you'll guess right away. TIS

That face really looks familiar, but I'm just not sure...
Sally Field?

Biker chick? Huh, i would say Katie Sagel from Sons of Anarchy but she doesn't look anything like the photo. What was the name of Fonzies girlfriend, Pinkie something but it really doesn't look like her either from what i can remember of her.
Huh, biker chick? I'll have to give this one some thought. The face does look very familiar. Giancarlo, I think you are right. It DOES look like Katie Sagel. Good going! TIS
