That is an interesting part of Mafia protocol. Very often the losing party, in a sitdown between two Families where murder is issued as a punishment, has to take care of the problem. In this case, the Genoveses were found guilty and where told to "take care" of Nick Cirillo. And that is why I believe, which I also said in the Tommy DeSimone thread, if DeSimone was killed because of Blly Batts murder and if there was a sitdown between the Gambinos and the Luccheses, DeSimone´s murder was most likely handled by the Luccheses.
A winning party in a sitdown where murder is the outcome, should not have to risk getting caught, by LE, in something they are ruled not being guilty of. That´s Mafia protocol.
