You've jarred my memory about something I seem to recall from around 10-15 years ago:
Mattel had put out a talking Barbie doll, and among the things it said was, "Math is hard!"
Well, you never heard such an outcry from women's organizations (and parental ones)! They complained so much that Mattel recalled the doll and had Barbie "fixed."
As one of our local newscasters likes to say, "Comment as you see fit."
