The first time I saw The Godfather it was shown on television, beginning in the early days (part 2) then coming up to date (part 1). When I bought the Trilogy on video it is obviously part1, 2 then 3 - but on TV there were a lot of scenes that are not on the video version. Does the DVD version have all of the scenes on it? Scenes such as Fanucci having his throat cut and many other bits.

Dapperdon, As one who has fairly recently gotten the DVD, I high recommend it. Like TB says, the deleted scenes are in a bonus disc, but believe me, that bonus disc is jam packed with great material, including interviews, screen tests, time lines, and even a segment on locations they used to film GF. You won't be disappointed. TIS

TIS yea the bonus disc is great with a lot of stuff in it, pretty good.
