When Gerlandino was captured, he had papers on his body set to go out to Messina-Denaro, who he is close with. They were about dividing up territories in Agrigento and specifically about the windfarms. Now that Messina is in jail for life, the windfarms are strictly under control of Messina-Denaro. All of Sicily. Even though, he really can't be capo di capi, in the full sense of the meaning, being he wasn't born in Palermo. But he's got his hands on everything on that island. Most concrete contracts are his, at the ports, the highways, the Falcone-Borsellino airport (in Palermo). The waterworks are thru him, hotels, everything all over Sicily. His net worth isn't in the billions for nothing.
