I'm on my blessed Thanksgiving break! We've got nine full days off - I don't think I've ever loved Thanksgiving more. Actually, I used up the first of the nine (today) without much production, but I'll call it my "decompression" day, or whatever term it was that George of Seinfeld used in the "Summer of George" episode.

The most exciting part of today was just a few hours ago. I went to put my cat outside, and when I looked out the window to the backyard, I saw what I think was an opossum eating the cat food out of my cat's bowl! My mom had actually seen it a few days before and chased it off, but it sounded so unbelieveable when she told me about it...I believe her now! What a weird animal.
