I'm sure Liotta will be in the Family secrets movie as someone. I agree with the other guys also.

He made a ton of cash off The Sopranos and far as his image is concerned yeah I could see if leaving it at that given all the hype

They got a solid director and one of the best screenwriters for this movie.

Also I was thinking about something. If Gandolfini doesn't do it, I wouldn't mind seeing the guy that played Richie Aprile in The Sopranos take the role as Frank Calabrese Sr.

I've not seen any of the movies he's written the screenplay for so which ones make him one of the best? I've only seen one film which the director made Pleasantville but i watched it when i was very young and can barely rsmember it.

I agree with you about Richie great character and actor playing him he should've lasted more than a season .

I don't blame you it doesn't look like we're going to get a mafia movie of this quality anytime soon in all honesty i don't think there's been any type of film as good since.

I thought the Departed was okay. However, when it received such (in my opinion) undeserved praise, I actually found myself hating it.

A good and ACCURATE Boston crime movie is 'Monument Ave.' or as its also known, 'Snitch'.

That's exactly how i felt about it it's a good movie but it's definitely not the Scorcese film that deserved the Oscar it's probably my 5th or 6th favourite film of his.

When youre getting down to the 5th or 6th ranking I don't think it can be considered a 'favourite' It had some of the most frustrating and distracting editing, and it didn't have a vibe or atmosphere. It was so bland. Every time people talk about it I always feel the need to trash it so I'll stop now.

That doesn't make any sense. Pillegi has always been a screenplay writer or co-writer. I am not doubting you , just giving my opinion that it is odd to see him produce a movie. I can tell you one thing though, he will have a strong influence on how the screenplay is written.

You can't though maybe he will contribute to the script but the fact is Scorcese has already adapted his 2 famous books he's an exec producer on this project i've already shown who the writer is NP will have no impact imo.
