I can't see it being due to Castellano fearing him turning informant. If that was the case so many others would have been killed over the years. maybe an associate would be feared to be informant, but since he was a captain, and had gone through induction into family, why would they fear him being snitch ?


Murder machine says it was because they thought he would become an informant he wasn't a captain Nino was his captain and if he became a snitch he'd be able to give the feds first hand info on Nino and Paul .
