realistically, when we would he have ever known about Vito being part of the Three Capos Hit? Sonny and Lefty never told him...

meanwhile, Joe learns about Vito 20+ years later like the rest of us and has to re-explain that to the Canadians who'd already know the story because of Vito's extradition fight etc?

Joe obviously LOVES the spotlight and it seems to me the Quebecois wanted the publicity he'd bring in turn... even if he is blurred out!!
