David Chase has never had a problem doing things that the regular audience wouldn't be that enamored by, and he really doesn't seem to lose sleep over what people in the audience think (He starts one of his DVD commentaries with "Welcome to the Sopranos, the show where apparently nothing happens" or something like that), so he probably would consider coming back and doing more with Tony and the others, but he probably wouldn't, is my guess.

Now, the great opportunity here is in doing some kind of a miniseries that's set in the 70s or 80s. I don't know how many actors would be able to come back, but I'd really enjoy seeing some stories focusing on Johnny Boy and Junior back in that era.

I think it's all a pipe dream, though. Chase's new movie shows he may be willing to get away from mob stories.
