PR Embarrassment that sport is an embarrassment in itself

I think RAW becoming a 3-hour show starting in July is a bad idea. It is hard enough for the WWE to fill 2 hours with worthwhile material, but 3?! The only good thing that can come out of this is the possibility that it will give the mid-carders more opportunity to appear on television. We'll see...

I agree. When I first heard of it, I immediately thought about Nitro. I remember the first hour of Nitro was kind of a "throw away." They didn't do much except show the crusierweights - which was a great division but as for the show itself, nothing really happened until hours 2 & 3. I think 3 hours is WAY too long personally!

Looks like nothing much happened at the PPV last night. No title changes, pretty lame.

I like how we whine when too many title changes happen, and then whine that not enough title changes happen.

True I hated that 18 seconds nonsense too. I actually don't mind Sheamus if only because the crowd turned him from heel to face last year. It's not like he's being jammed down our throats against our will like Ryback. (You know the one that the fans chant "Goldberg!" too.)

If anything he actually kinda reminds me of Lex Luger, in a good way. Sometimes in wrestling you don't want a technical master or stuntman, you just in kayfabe want a giant walking muscle to beat people up.

To be fair, if Dolph Ziggler was given the belt sunday, I would've been pleased like cheese. He's ready for prime time, a master bump machine.

I saw someone post before about Randy Orton failing some test for drugs under this wellness program. This Wellness program is utter crap, I saw some WWE RAW the other day, from what I saw 90% of those guys are juicing, so why is Orton getting singled out? Anyone involved in serious working out or body building will tell you you don't get 20+ inch arms naturally, its just not possible without. Guys like Cena are certainly juicing so why is only Orton apparently getting pulled up?

yea sadly ryback (i do like him because he is new, and might be good) is being molded into goldberg with some certain things he do. i never saw lex lugar, so nothing to say there.

also, i do believe that some wrestlers are using steroids. the thing is a lot of them were bodybuilders (including cena) so, they have a way around those tests. idk why wwe is doing this to orton because he is the top 2 or 3 of the company. hopefully when orton returns he is a heel for one thing...and not jobbing because of it.

Hornswoggle as the Anonymous RAW GM? Really? REALLY?! Really...

Vince McMahon and the WWE creative team suck.

I'm going to the SMACKDOWN! tapings in Bakersfield, CA tonight. Ringside seats. Look for me in the crowd. I'm the sexy one.

my dads friend used to work with shane mcmahon years ago and we got plenty of tickets to shows, actually went to a smackdown taping in trenton. have you ever been to a live event before? if not be prepared, its very loud. the fireworks and slams on the mats were extremely loud.

I've been to quite a few live events, but this is the first TV taping I've been to since Monday Night Raw was held at the Manhattan Center back in the 90s. Live events are always awesome, and we had incredible seats. The fireworks were super loud.

The special untelevised main event for the evening was a No DQ match between Big Show and John Cena. The crowd (more specifically, the kids and women) went ape shit when Cena came out. It was an awesome show.

^^^ good for you, glad you had fun! people always wanna talk shit on pro wrestling with the usual "its not real" crap. really? we know that its not real dumbass, but its great entertainment regardless. the only thing i miss is the more adult-themed version of the late 90's, but if the demographic changes so does the product, such is life.

If anyone here has WWE Classics, there is an episode of RAW from Nassau Coliseum from 1998 on the current menu. In the opening crowd shot there's a fan with a sign reading, "Free The Ridgewood Boys".

I think Brock is being built up for a match with Undertaker at Mania.

The Triple H speech on Monday was for the fans who didn't believe this "could" be his last match since WWE was trying to build that up and no one was really buying it. He'll take a couple of months off and be back. Further rumors have suggested he could fight Brock again as early as the October PPV (I forgot the name right now) or the Survivor Series in November.

do we really need a rematch? everybody know's that triple h won't be away. honestly brock has two/three ppv's left...one could be used for randy orton, the other probably royal rumble, and wrestlemania should be with the undertaker.

I personally don't want to see him fight the old fossil Undertaker because he's not going to win. I can't stand watching the Undertaker fight at WrestleMania because his opponent doesn't stand a chance. No matter how big they try to build it up prior to the PPV.

I don't know about you guys, I usually hate those WWE "comedy" sketches. But I'll admit I did laugh at Kane at anger management. (Goat Face was terrific too.)

I'd love to. Gotta see when tickets go on sale and how much they'll be. I've always wanted to go but if I could pick a venue to see it at, nothing beats Madison Square Garden!

Pretty much, yeah. He may make an appearance in the Royal Rumble itself but it's only to build up his match for WrestleMania. As BAM said, he's being doing this the past couple of years and I don't see him stopping it anytime soon unfortunately.
