It was never up to AJ. No way Tony would ever let him be involved in that life. Not only that, but I think he would have made it clear to every member of the Family that they were not to have any "business" dealings of any sort with his son. And I tend to feel the same way about Meadow,assuming she were a male. Tony wouldn't want that life for her either. Christopher was a basic,simple thug who was great for the Mob life,but not much else. But Meadow (if she was a son)? No way. Governor Soprano,Senator Soprano maybe,but never Capo Soprano.
