Reminds me of growing up in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn NY. We swam in Betsy Head Pool, a gigantic public pool built in the Thirties. Just as crowded as that Beijing pool. But polio was the big scare then.

School break here goes from late May through early August. The YMCA pool makes special hours for the kids. Water's always cloudy...
