I went to the Chevelle/Taproot/30 Seconds to Mars concert last night in Dewey Beach. It was my first concert, so I didn't know what to expect. All I can say is "WOW!" I've never had so much fun in my life. I went with my two brothers, and my brother's roommate. We got to sit right up front, because my brother T.J. is in a wheelchair. My stepdad is a promoter for Taproot, so I got to go up to the stage with him to take pictures. The lead singer reached down and shook my hand, and the guitarist gave me the pick he was using at the end of one of the songs. Then the singer dropped a bottle of water, and I grabbed it and started splashing the audience, so they kicked me out from the stage. It didn't matter though, because I was still in the front. We were standing right by the speakers, so today I can't hear anything. I lost my voice from all the screaming, and I tweaked my ankle when I went crowd surfing. But it was great, and I can't wait for the next concert!

Cool Irish I am going to wait untill the new book comes out on paper back as my other ones are all paper back...never actually got round to reading past the 2nd one...but hey cant have an uncomplete collection!! The only reading I will be doing just now will be for my driving theory test I want to get the test out of the way as soon as I turn 17 so I can concentrate on the actual driving!!

The last time I caught cold I had this very bad cough that stayed with me ever since. It is not that bad now but it still irritates me to cough like that. It is going to be 4 month that I have this mild ongoing cough. So I had had it and went to a respirational specialist who gave me a couple of sprays to inhale twice a day and a pill to take each night.

I'm such a kid. I still like to disassemble things. I noticed around the whole little can of spray something is written in French. Not that I know a word of it but I still thought I could get the spray can out of the sprayer. So after looking at it like idiots and not understanding a word of it I tried to insert it back to the sprayer, at which point I needed to check to see if the pin is inserted at the right place and that's when I sprayed some of it into my left eye!! Now, I was in both states of amusement and panic and I remembered Mike in Monsters Inc. It didn't hurt at all though, and that's strange. Doctor told me that I need to wash my teeth and mouth after using this spray because it can ruin my teeth. I washed my eye but I'm still shocked that it didn't hurt. Oh well...

Afs, hope your cough gets better!

I remember my brother sprayed spray paint in his eye, once, when he was really little - it hurt him!

Glad to hear that you're feeling better, Afs, but your story reminded me of something my brother did once. He had an eye infection and was given antibiotic drops. He got his bottles mixed up and put Binaca in his eye!! Of course, this is the same brother who accidentalloy treated his hemhorroids with Icy Hot, his arthritis menthol creme, and almost brushed his teeth with Preparation H.

I know what on earth was he thinking?!?!? The nanny's ok, but Sienna is a knockout!

Ouch SB, that must have hurt him really badly. I've brushed my teeth with almost an oily moisturizer once and it took me a long time to wash it off!
