I recognized him immediately. But SC is right - I'm not sure many people outside of the NY/NJ area would know him. (Although he did start out on TV in Philadelphia in the late 1950's before he came to New York.) He also had a long career on FM radio in NY.

The photo was taken a few years ago, but he is alive and well - and will turn 94 in September.

As a matter of fact, Signora V. and I met him at a convention back in 1993. A very nice fellow. I still have an inscribed autographed photo of him hanging on my wall.
