A Scotsman, Irishman and an American...

....stood on top of the Empire State Building after each drinking 15 pints.

The American said, "After 15 Pints you can jump off here, fly around, come back then land safely."

"Prove it!", said the Irishman

The American jumped off, flew around, then came back safely.

"Wow!" said Paddy "I want a turn!", so he jumped and plunged to his death...

Back at the top the Scotsman turned to the American and said.....

...... "BUGGER ME SUPERMAN...YOU'RE A RIGHT BASTARD WHEN YOU'RE PISSED!!"

Just got this through email:
The greatest funeral for a gangster ever held in Chicago was for a flower shop entrepreneur named O'Banion. The shop, at the corner of State and Superior Streets, was a front for O'Banion's bootlegging and hijacking operations. Ten thousand mourners were in attendance, and the most expensive wreath it cost $1,000 came from Al Capone, who had ordered that O'Banion be rubbed out.

Drackle Spittle Deck Deck
Hit the deck
A little speck
Of rain and rain
I'm going insane
Sanity Vanity and all things Calamity
Jane was a pain
Who was very insane
And sanity is what Calamity
Means to me and Mean
Streets hitting
The deck deck deck drackle

Nonsensical fun
And now all forgotten.

Just thought some might like to hear that I made it to New York safe and sound. I'm so proud of myself because I actually stayed up for 24 consecutive hours without falling alseep. I had come close before but I would always nod or fall asleep, but now there's no doubt in my mind that I stayed up for an entire day (and still counting) cool

It's great, I"m so glad I got out from the heat in Texas. We went out to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and the Yankee game is on. What more could I ask for? The only thing is I only get basic cable in my room (so I'll be watching most shows in my parents room or the living room). Plus I just signed up for blockbuster online's video rental, but now I gotta wait for them to come in so I'm a little bored, but definitely glad to be back

My cleaning lady just left. The house has the great smell, and, best of all, I had nothing to do with making it happen. There truly are few things in life more satisfying than having a cleaning lady.

Interesting, Deb! While we're in the same ballpark:

Keep your eyes peeled for the bad apple in this bushel of facts.

Almonds are a member of the peach family.

Five Jell-O flavors have flopped: celery, coffee, cola, apple, chocolate.

Former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt ate 3 chocolate covered garlic balls every morning.

Grapes explode when you put them in the microwave.

Coca-cola was originally green.

There are 49 different foods mentioned in the Bible.

Watermelon, considered one of America's favorite fruits, is really a vegetable. It is cousin to the cucumber and the gourd.

Elvis made only one television commercial - an ad for "Southern Maid Doughnuts" that ran in 1954.

Peanuts are used in the production of dynamite.

Acorns were used as a coffee substitute during the Civil War.

Baskin Robbins once made ketchup ice cream.

And the false fact is: Coke has never been green although at times it has been bottled in green glass bottles.

Yeah I know eh?! Obviously someone with a lot of spare time on their hands!!

Sherlock Holmes NEVER said "Elementary, my dear Watson", Humphrey Bogart NEVER said "Play it again, Sam" in Casablanca, and they NEVER said "Beam me up, Scotty" on Star Trek. confused

Well, I don't know about the others, but Bogart says, "Play it. You played it for her, you can play it for me. If she can stand it I can," (I'm paraphrasing, so sorry SC!), but never says "Play it again, Sam."

There are only three words in the English language that begin with the letters "dw". Can anyone tell me what they are?

BTW, there are about four words that begin with 'dw' listet in dictionary (American Heritage).

Dweeb n. Slang. 1. A subservient person; a flunky. 2. A despised person.[Origin unknown.]
