Every mishap is being blamed on the 100+ degree temps. Even the Cubs losing is being blamed on the excessive heat and they have been playing out of town!

I mentioned that they were smart to get this done while the temperature was still in the 80s. They said they have two more jobs this afternoon. It's not the best day to be spreading hot tar.

Today it was in the mid 80's and perfect IMHO. However, we still have August and September in CA is pretty much still summer. I'll be totally shocked if we skate by w/o 100plus temps. We've been having more and more severe weather in the past ten years or so, including bigger snowstorms (five of the City's biggest snowstorms have occurred in the past ten years).
