There might be an argument for contempt, but since everybody involved in this debate is commencing their wordy war because this is an election year and the opposition thinks it'll damage Obama or something, it's an irrelevant matter that will be forgotten within a year.

Of course unrelated, involved in this fight is the same NRA who's offended simply by our government trying to fight the Mexican cartels by stemming the flow of guns down south. God forbid if people are denied their firearms, even if it's violent evil foreign criminals who're trying to illegal acquire them. So yeah in short, the NRA is helping the cartels.

(Has it really hurt Obama as the right-wing hopes? I think the main problem is the scandal name: "Fast & Furious," and when people hear that, they think Vin Diesel. They get the wrong idea.)
