Well now I'm super-pissed. This weekend is Easter weekend, correct? Supposed to be a "holy time" to spend reflecting on Jesus and his suffering and resurrection. Well get this, not only do I have a test to study for this weekend for Monday, but now I've got a test to study for for next Thursday (the 31)! Can you beat it?? 2 tests to study for over Easter weekend. Plus add in the fact that I still have homework that's due when I take the test and I'm only half way done and can only work on it again tonight, next Tuesday and Wednesday (and it's worth half of my test grade). Man this f'n SUCKS!

I'm in Ohio at my in-laws for my son's spring break. He wanted to come here and be with his mama&papa.

Turi, that's one of the coolest things I have ever seen!! Absolutely amazing. How do they do it? It doesn't look like it's been done on the computer, it looks more like a scan of an actual painting. Wow.

It reminds me (kind of) of this guy, Kurt Wenner, who does these extremely elaborate and realistic chalk drawings on the ground. He makes it look like there's a hole in the sidewalk, and you can see all the way to this really psychedelic abyss, or like a pool with gods and goddesses in it... Unbelievable stuff, it's all on completely flat sidewalks. So not to take up too much room here, I'll post the pics of the ones I've seen personally (the first one was in Palm Desert, the second one was in Pasadena, in front of the City Hall):



The "rocks" that the real people are standing on are not really elevated, they're part of the painting. It's amazing, in real life, they're even more real-looking. You can actually feel like you're going to fall in. If he ever did a painting that looked like you were looking down from a skyscraper, I can guarantee more than one person would get a mean case of vertigo.

Just got my cap & gown for graduation! Man, I was looking over my schedule because I RSVPed for a lot of events (such as a senior dinner, ring ceremony, robing juniors, etc). Next month is gonna be so full & busy and then with graduation in May. It reminds me of May of 2001, that was a great month because I went to my 2nd Dave Matthews Show, had prom a week later, and then 2 weeks after that graduation. I'm hoping next month is as much fun (and I think it will).

Wow, I've never seen anything like it. That is absolutely amazing. I can imagine trying to keep my balance on one of those rocks incase I fell. Kurt Wenner has a new fan.

I'm glad you liked it. Things like this make me stop and think about how great the human mind is. Sure, too many people waste it, but some people do some pretty amazing things.

How was your day off XXX? Do anything more exciting than sleep?

Well it started out great! I slept like I hadn't slept in a loooooooooooooooong time, I got up, came online to browse the BB for a little while. After that, I ran some errands, did the regular "day-off" things. But come bed time, I got an absolutely horrible pain in my stomach. It was so bad in fact that I ended up going to bed around 830 last night. I woke up around 1, ran to the bathroom, and puked my damn guts up! Ok, I've been sick the past week or so, but no flu-like symptoms whatsoever. Now all of a sudden, after I assume that I'm all better, I start throwing up! I've vomited 6 times since then, and was unable to actually fall back to sleep til about 730 this morning. I woke up around 9, called into work, and have pretty much just slept the rest of today. Good thing is I'm off work tomorrow too, so I've had a three day weekend...at the expense of my health though.

Arrested Developement is such a funny show.

Yes, I'm glad it's Friday. Only I've been on vacation and for me it's another day closer to going back to work. I could get use to this vacation business very easily. Everyone have a wonderful weekend and a great Easter.

I just got back from banging my head at the bottom of the up-flat-down box. Other than that it was an epic day. Powder in the morning and slush in the afternoon

Hope you feel better man. It sucks because I've been offline the past 2 days, plus I've been studying for these 2 tests on Monday and Tuesday. But I am happy that I finished reading The Return of the King. I really did enjoy it and Tuesday after the test, I'm going to start reading The Hobbit! I'm so excited about that because I really don't know what the story is about and I'm just really looking forward to reading it!

Tonight I went to a hip-hop show.
