Re "asociates" --- I guess it's all according to your interpretation, but to me, someone has to be "on record" with the local soldier to be counted as an associate. Otherwise, you can make a case for every truck driver and dock worker being connected. And that just isn't the case.
Exactly. You have to report to a made guy often, hang out where he does and whatnot in order to be a labelled associate.
