Raab usually cited the ratio of 5 associates for every made guy.
I don't mean just full-time mob associates like say Henry Hill or Meyer Lansky; I'm also talking about all the criminals who have say two degrees of separation from a made guy. Associates of associates, in other words.
I understand that you meant. And expanding that out to a more loose definition, you're probably looking at the 10:1 ratio. At least 10 associates to every member is the highest I've seen. It's what I mean about associate estimates being rather
flexible. You can see two very different estimates and they can both be right.
