Since today is the day we honor those who have served our country, I started thinking about which Gangsters served and were vets. It makes you wonder if the discipline and training helped any of these guys once they got out and returned to a life of crime. Guys that come to mind are: Sammy the bull Gravano (Army) Dominick Montiglio (Green Berets) Henry Hill (Army) Any others? Best way to catch the smart ones? Get an idiot working for them.

Fucking guy probably killed more people than the plague. -Stevie Flemmi was a paratrooper in Korea. I think he was highly decorated too. -Allen Dorfman was a Marine in WWII. He was at Iwo Jima and got a Silver Star More recently Richard Greaves(Colombos) and Randy Pizzolo(Bonnanos) were both Marines.
