If ever there had been a fix in the lottery, it would have been the year that the Knicks got Ewing...with the frozen envelope.
I didn't mind at the time, but the thing with LeBron was definitely fixed too. They didn't even show the ping pong balls on television. Instead, the draft order was just announced.
Didn't the envelope have a big fold on it for Ewing? I seem to remember some kind of controversy about that.
