Not looking good for Camacho.

Very sad.

I remember Hector from the early '80s. He lived in Harlem at the time but he hung out in the Bronx quite a bit. He was usually around the clubs on Westchester Avenue in Parkchester. There was on place in particular called PC's. He was there all the time. A lot of local boxers hung out there at the time. I remember Mark Breland and Iran Barkley well from that time period also. I can't say I knew any of them well, but I did meet them on several occasions.

Anyway, a lot of people didn't like Hector because he was so brash. But I say, Fuck that, the guy could back it up. He was also a pretty good martial artist. He looked like a pretty boy in the ring at times, but he was also a pretty good streetfighter. Even after he turned pro guys were always looking to test him. And they were usually sorry for it wink.

Anyway, none of that matters now. All that matters is that he's gone way too soon. Such a shame frown.

looks like ricky hatton is retired again. he started out pretty strong, but a left hook to the body put him out near the end of rd 9.

pretty good scrap last night between robert guerrero and andre berto, pretty impressive how guerrero is able to move up in weight and take his power and chin with him. he started out at fetherweight(126), and is now fighting and winning at welterweight(147). check the replay out here guys...

Nicky, much as i like Cotto, i feel he is coming to the end now. Always a shame because he has been such a great warrior over they years. Future Hall of Famer for sure!!

I watched Tyson Fury win again last night. He is useful, but over hyped and it was an awful fight to watch. Booooring!!!!

cotto fought ok, but the reach and physical size of trout were too much at this point in his career. his jab was almost non-existent, and he didn't go to the body with any regularity. on the upside, trout could turn into a big star, so there isn't much shame in losing to a young lion like that. cotto has had a great career with wins over mosley, judah, margarito, mayorga, and mallanaggi, and had respectable efforts againt maywether and manny, the two best fighters of his generation. while he's still young(32), he has had many tough fights so i think maybe a farewell fight in nyc or PR, but if not its time to call it a career imo.

I love how their boxing trunks now resemble a NASCAR auto. How many more sponsors can they fit on those shorts?!?

Helluva shot.

On a sad note, this fight series will probably go on until 2052 whistle.

amazing fight between them, that shot was so brutal that manny might wanna think about hanging it up, he has seemingly degraded alot in the last 2-3 years. boxing has shot itself in the foot again though, as pacquio/maywether is now dead in the water. way to go, because of greed on both sides as well as the promoters, we missed out on the biggest fight of the last 30+ years because someone wasn't willing to take the short end of the money and only walk away with 40+ million instead of 50. shit like this is why i've turned my back on the sport for the most part, although i still catch the big fights. you don't have thee same bullshit problems in mma, and with the added benefit of one championship per weight class.

This is broadcast in Spanish and it will probably get taken down in a few hours.

Amir Khan looked good on Saturday, even though Molina was a bit limited. However Molina won my heart, just my type of fighter, tough and strong, full of guts. Khan will go on to a re-match with Garcia, a 50-50 fight for sure!!

Floyd and Marquez already fought, Floyd won every second of every round, total mismatch in terms of weight classes also.
