That's a running joke between my cousins and me. Whenever we're driving as opposed to flying (usually when it's too spontaneous to get plane tickets), after we pass Zzyzx Rd, for the rest of the trip, that word shows up in every sentence, somehow.

One of my cousins turned it into a Yiddish thing, like, "Oy, the air pressure's too low... I'm zzyzxing."

So finally, about two months ago, my cousin got a dog, and guess what he named it?! Of course, Zzyzx. None of us even knows the proper pronounciation of it, and he goes and makes it his dog's name, so he's gonna have to say it every day!! So now we have even more reason to bring up the word in conversation. What's worse, we say it differently every time we use it... the poor dog.
