Being born into the mob in America is a lot different than being born into the mob in Sicily. In America the children have more choices. In Sicily, the kids who are born into the Mafia only know one way, so I don't fault them as much for inevitably joining. Now I'm not saying that they "never had a chance" or anything like that, but in Sicily it's certainly understandable. In America, if your father is a moneyed mob boss, you're certainly not stealing to put food on the table.
